L’eredità

Sono il Provinciale della Provincia Tailandese. Mi chiamo Padre Paul Cherdchai. Il mio ruolo, come provinciali, sapete, abbiamo diversi compiti che stiamo svolgendo in Tailandia, la sfida per I Camilliani in Tailandia è come tradurre il messaggio di San Camillo, il nostro fondatore, che è, sapete, ben integrato nella cultura tailandese, nella cultura del Buddismo. E in Tailandia curiamo diversi “ministeri”: due ospedali, tre case di ricovero, un centro per HIV e AIDS, un centro per curare  i bambini nel nord, tre centri per bambini con handicap. Sapete, ci sono moltissimi incarichi che stiamo ricoprendo servendo gli ammalati in Tailandia. Ci sono molti incarichi che stiamo svolgendo e ricoprendo. Un altro è l’approccio olistico che dobbiamo avere nel servire gli ammalati. Non solo, sapete, fisico. Abbiamo anche quello, ma anche quello morale, psicologico, sociale certamente, abbiamo le famiglie, e la dimensione spirituale. Questo stiamo facendo per servirli.

The heritage

I am the Provincial of the Province of Thailand. My name is Father Paul Cherdchai. My assignment, as Provincial, you know, we have several assignments that we are doing in Thailand, the challenge for the Camillians in Thailand is how to translate the message of St. Camillus, our founder, which is, you know, well integrated to the Thai culture, the culture of Buddhism. And in Thailand we have several Ministries two Hospitals, three Nursing Homes, one centre for HIV and AIDS, one centre for help children in the North, three centers for handicap children. You know, there is a lot of ministries that we are serving the sick in Thailand. There is a lot of ministries that we are doing and charging. An other one is the holistic approach that we have to give to serve the sick people. Not only, you know, physical. We also have that, but moral, psychological, social of course, we got the family, you know and spiritual  dimension. That we are doing serving them.

Das Erbe

Ich bin der Provinzial der Thailändischen Provinz. Mein Name ist Pater Paul Cherdchai. Wir haben verschiedene Aufgaben, die wir in Thailand ausführen. Die Herausforderung für uns Kamillianer besteht darin, dass wir die Botschaft des heiligen Kamillus, unseres Gründers, in unserer thailändischen Kultur, die im Buddhismus stark verankert ist, umsetzen. In Thailand üben wir verschiedene Dienste aus: wir haben zwei Spitäler, drei Pflegeheime, ein Zentrum für Aidskranke, ein Zentrum für Kinder im Norden Thailands, drei Zentren für behinderte Kinder. Wir führen viele Aufgaben für die Kranken in Thailand aus und versuchen von einem ganzheitlichen Konzept ausgehend die Kranken zu behandeln. Nicht nur was den Körper betrifft, sondern wir berücksichtigen auch den moralischen, psychologischen, sozialen Zustand, auch was die Familien und die geistliche Dimension betrifft. Wir tun dies, um den Menschen zu dienen.

La herencia 

Soy  el provincial de la Provincia Tailandesa. Me llamo Paul Cherdchai. Mi cometido es animar todas las iniciativas que desarrollamos en este país. El reto que tenemos los Camilos consiste en cómo traducir el mensaje de San Camilo, nuestro fundador, a la cultura autóctona y a la específica del budismo. Atendemos a diversos ministerios en este país. Por ejemplo, tenemos dos hospitales, tres residencias de ancianos, un centro para HIV y AIDS, un centro para curar a los niños en el Norte, tres centros para niños discapacitados en otros lugares. En suma, nos preocupamos por los enfermos en Tailandia. Y no es solamente una atención a lo físico, porque nos ocupamos de lo social, de lo psicológico, de lo moral, de lo espiritual. También atendemos a las familias.

O legado 

Sou o provincial da Província Tailandesa e me chamo Paul Cherdchai. Minha função é animar todas as iniciativas que desenvolvemos neste país e o nosso desafio, como camilianos, consiste em traduzir a mensagem de São Camilo à cultura autóctone e à cultura específica do budismo. Atendemos a diversos ministérios neste país, por exemplo, temos dois hospitais, três casas de repouso para idosos, um centro para HIV e AIDS, um centro para atender a crianças no Norte e três centros para crianças com deficiência em outros lugares. Em resumo, nos preocupamos com os doentes tailandeses! Recorremos a uma abordagem holística para servir às pessoas.: não se trata somente de uma atenção ao aspecto físico, porque nos ocupamos também dos aspectos social, psicológico e moral. Além disso, trabalhamos com as famílias e não descuidamos o lado espiritual.Province Thaïlandaise

L’héritage

Je suis le Provincial de la Province Thaïlandaise. Je m’appelle Père Paul Cherdchai. Mon rôle, comme provincial, nous avons plusieurs tâches, vous savez, que nous mettons en place en Thaïlande. Le défi pour les Camilliens en Thaïlande est de savoir comment traduire le message de saint Camille, notre fondateur, qui est, vous savez, bien intégré dans la culture thaïlandaise, dans la culture du Bouddhisme. Et en Thaïlande, nous soignons dans divers “ministères” : deux hôpitaux, trois maisons de soins, un centre pour le HIV et SIDA, un centre pour soigner les enfants dans le nord, trois centres pour enfants avec un handicap. Vous savez, il y a beaucoup de tâches pour servir les malades en Thaïlande. Beaucoup de tâches dont nous nous occupons. Une autre est l’approche holistique que nous devons avoir dans le service aux malades.Vous savez, pas seulement physiquement. Celle-là bien sûr que nous avons mais aussi l’approche morale, psychologique, sociale bien sûr ;  nous avons les familles, et la dimension spirituelle. Nous faisons tout cela pour les servir.
