La CTF della Provincia delle Filippine si è attivata per rispondere ai danni causati dal Tifone Washi che il 17 dicembre ha colpito la parte nord della Regione Mindanao. Mentre non ci sono vittime tra i Camilliani, gli stessi si sono mossi per sostenere una rete di Organizzazioni non Governative, stanziate nelle località più colpite. Allo scopo, hanno messo a disposizione il loro personale religioso ed alcuni fondi. Anche CTF Central, seguendo la sua prassi, sta monitorando la situazione e mobilizzando dei fondi.
Quello che segue (scaricabile in pdf) un appello concreto inviatoci dai confratelli delle Filippine a sostegno della rete di Organizzazioni non Governative – con cui essi collaborano – che  si sono attivate per portare i primi aiuti.

The CTF of the Philippines has stepped forward in order to respond to the damages caused by the Typhoon Washi

The CTF of the Philippines has stepped forward in order to respond to the damages caused by the Typhoon Washi, which hit the northern part of Mindanao on December 17, 2011. Thanks God, Camillians did not report any casualty. They have, therefore, moved  in support of grassroots base non – government  organizations, which operate in some of the most affected areas. To the scope, religious and funds have been made available. CTF Central too, following its standard operations, is monitoring the situation and mobilizing funds.
What follows is an appeal (pdf) sent by our confreres, in the attempt to support the network of non – government  organizations which are actively responding to the needs of the victims and with which Camillians are liaising.
