INCONTRO INTERNAZIONALE DELLA GRANDE FAMIGLIA  DI SAN CAMILLO

Carissimi Religiosi, Religiose e Laici camilliani,

Un cordiale saluto dalla Casa della Maddalena di Roma.

Facendomi interprete del Padre Generale P. Renato Salvatore e dei Consultori, presento a tutti voi, Religiosi, Religiose e Laici camilliani, la proposta di realizzare un Incontro Internazionale della Grande Famiglia di S. Camillo, con lo scopo di conoscerci meglio, approfondire la nostra spiritualità e soprattutto accordarci su alcune iniziative pratiche da realizzare assieme per celebrare adeguatamente il 400° Anniversario della morte di S. Camillo, il 14 luglio 2014.
Tale Incontro internazionale avrà luogo a Roma, il 24 e 25 maggio 2011.

Per fare in modo che le due giornate siamo veramente efficaci ed esprimano il più largamente possibile le aspettative di tutti i partecipanti, stabiliremo un Comitato Preparatorio  in rappresentanza delle diverse istituzioni che prenderanno parte all’Incontro.  Il Comitato si riunirà nell’ottobre prossimo per stabilire i contenuti e i particolari del programma. A questo proposito vi siamo grati se ci inviate per iscritto le vostre proposte e suggerimenti su come vorreste che fossero organizzate le due giornate. Inviate tali proposte a me (pguarise@yahoo.com) entro il 15 ottobre 2010, affinché possano essere prese in esame dal Comitato Preparatorio. Per fine ottobre speriamo di essere in grado di inviarvi il programma completo dell’Incontro.

Nel frattempo chiediamo la vostra collaborazione e la vostra preghiera per il successo dell’evento.

INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF THE GREAT CAMILLIAN FAMILY

Dear Camillians / Lay Camillians,

Cordial greetings from the Maddalena House of Rome.

On behalf of Father General Fr. Renato Salvatore and of the Consultors I am glad to announce to all the Camillian Religious (Women and Men) and Lay Camillians that there will be  an International Meeting of the Great Camillian Family, with the purpose to know each other better, to deepen our spirituality and to agree on some practical initiatives we could carry out together to adequately mark the 400th anniversary of the death of St. Camillus, recurring on 14th July 2014. Such Meeting will take place on 24-25 May 2011, here in Rome.

We shall soon establish a Preparatory Committee representing the different institutions taking part to the Meeting, so that the 2-day gathering may really become a success, accomplishing as much as possible  the expectations of all the participants. Such Committee will meet in October, in order to decide on the contents and details of the programme. For this reason we shall be grateful if you send us, in writing, your suggestions for the Meeting. Please send them to me (pguarise @yahoo.com) by 15th October 2010, so that the Preparatory Committee can start examining them.
At the end of October we hope to be in a position to send you the complete programme of the Meeting.
