The Expectation

In the world of health care St. Camillus is fundamentally an expression of the love of God’s mercy. This is the reason why Bolivia is also interested in having the Camillians. About twenty years ago the current Cardinal Giulio Terrazas of Santa Cruz sent me to this house, to ask the Camillians  to arrive in Bolivia. He had recently suffered a heart attack, had been in hospital enough time and then he had really felt the need for someone to express love, generosity, mercy for the needy and the sick.

Die Erwartung

Der heilige Kamillus ist auf dem Gebiet des Gesundheitswesens der wesentliche Ausdruck der Liebe Gottes, der Barmherzigkeit. Dies ist der Grund warum auch Bolivien an der Anwesenheit der Kamillianer interessiert ist. Vor zirka zwanzig Jahren hat mich der jetztige Kardinal Giulio Terrazas von Santa Cruz in dieses Haus geschickt, um zu bitten, dass die Kamillianer nach Bolivien kommen. Er hatte wenig vorher einen Infarkt erlitten, war längere Zeit im Spital und hatte auf diese Weise wirklich die Notwendigkeit erfahren, dass jemand die Liebe, die Uneigennützigkeit, die Barmherzigkeit für die Bedürftigsten und die Kranken zum Ausdruck bringt.
