The Expectation

The question “How is Bucchianico preparing itself to celebrate the four hundred years of the death of Saint Camillus?” is very easy. First of all, we have the intention to significantly contribute to all the initiatives and celebrations throughout the Bucchianico’s territory. We as municipality, but also together with association recognized by the municipality, will strongly collaborate with the central direction of Rome. I’d like to underline an initiative that spontaneously came up and that will end in 2013, that is to open a permanent museum, a permanent exhibition of nativity scenes representing the places in which St. Camillus is currently operating: the five continents. In collaboration with the Roman Province, the Neapolitan Province, with everyone, religious and lay, who represent the world of St. Camillus, we’re receiving as a gift cribs from Thailand, Germany, the Neapolitan Province, Sicily, Bucchianico itself, the Roman Province, representing in loco the witness of the work of St. Camillus. The idea, therefore, is very simple: when someone will arrive to Bucchianico and will ask “What can I see?”, today the answer would be “the native house of St. Camillus, the Sanctuary of St. Camillus, St. Clare, St. Camillus everywhere”. We would like to give an additional contribute, we would present to everybody a permanent exhibition in order to raise the question “What does Thailand has to do with St. Camillus, why a nativity scene from Thailand in Bucchianico?”. We would like to be able to say: “This is the work of St. Camillus, St. Camillus is in Thailand, St. Camillus is in Chile, etc.”. That’s why Chile today gave us a crib as witness. For us, as administration, witness is this: the valorisation of the territory and the valorisation of Bucchianico, always on behalf and in the name of St. Camillus.

Die Erwartung

Die Frage: „Wie bereitet sich Bucchianico auch die Vierhundertjahrfeier des Todes des heiligen Kamillus vor?“ ist sehr einfach zu beantworten. Wir haben vor allem die Absicht, einen bedeutenden Beitrag für alle Veranstaltungen und Feiern, die auf dem Territorium von Bucchianico stattfinden, zu leisten. Wir werden als die Gemeindeverwaltung zusammen mit allen von der Gemeinde anerkannten Vereinigungen eng mit der Ordensleitung in Rom zusammenarbeiten. Ich möchte hier eine Initiative besonders hervorheben, die sich spontan ergeben hat und im Jahre 2013 verwirklicht werden wird, nämlich eine ständige Ausstellung von Weihnachtskrippen, die aus den fünf Kontinenten, in denen der heilige Kamillus tätig ist, stammen. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Römischen und der Neapolitanischen Provinz und ferner mit all den Laien und Ordenspersonen der gesamten kamillianischen Welt empfangen wir aus Thailand, aus Deutschland, aus der Neapolitanischen Provinz, aus Sizilien, aus Bucchianico selbst, aus der Römischen Provinz eine Weihnachtskrippe, als ein Symbol, dass dort der heilige Kamillus am Werk ist. Die Idee ist daher sehr einfach: Wenn jemand nach Bucchianico kommt und danach fragt, was man hier sehen kann, sieht er das Geburtshaus des heiligen Kamillus, das Heiligtum des heiligen Kamillus, sieht den Konvent Santa Chiara, sieht er überall Erinnerungen an den heiligen Kamillus. Wir möchten aber dazu noch etwas hinzufügen. Wir wollen den Besuchern eine ständige Ausstellung zeigen, damit sie sich die Frage stellen: „Was bedeutet es, dass es hier in Bucchianico eine Krippe aus Thailand gibt?“. Wir können darauf antworten: „Weil dort Kamillus am Werk ist, er ist in Thailand, er ist in Chile“. Deshalb hat uns ja Chile eine Krippe geschenkt, um Zeugnis zu geben. Für uns als Gemeindeverwaltung besteht das Zeugnisgeben darin: die Wertschätzung von Bucchianico und der gesamten Umgebung, immer zu Gunsten und im Namen des heiligen Kamillus, zu vermehren.

La pregunta “¿como Bucchianico se está preparando para celebrar los cuatrocientos años de la muerte de San Camilo?” es muy simple. Tenemos la intención, en primer lugar, de dar una contribución significativa a todas las manifestaciones y las celebraciones en todo el territorio de Bucchianico. Nosotros como Municipalidad, pero también con las asociaciones reconocidas por el municipio, vamos a colaborar fuertemente con la dirección central de Roma. Me gustaría resaltar una iniciativa que vino de manera espontánea y se concluirá en 2013, es decir, abrir un museo permanente, una exposición permanente de belenes que representan los lugares donde San Camilo está en este momento obrando: los cinco continentes. En colaboración con la Provincia Romana, la Provincia Napolitana, en colaboración con todos los que representan, religiosos y laicos, el mundo de San Camilo, estamos recibiendo como regalo belenes que representan desde Tailandia, Alemania, la Provincia Napolitana, Sicilia, la misma Bucchianico, entonces la Provincia Romana, un belén in situ que es testigo de la obra de San Camilo. La idea, entonces, es muy sencilla: cuando alguien llegará a Bucchianico y preguntará por lo que se puede ver, hoy en día ve la casa natal de San Camilo, ve el Santuario de San Camilo, ve Santa Clara, ve San Camilo en todas partes. Nosotros quisiéramos dar una contribución, quisiéramos presentarle una exposición permanente de modo que se haga la pregunta “Pero que significa Tailandia, un belén de Tailandia en Bucchianico?”. Nosotros quisiéramos poder decir: “Esta es la obra de San Camilo, san Camilo está en Tailandia, San Camilo está en Chile”. Por eso Chile, hoy, nos dio un belén como testigo. Para nosotros, como administración, el testigo es esto: la valorización del territorio y la valorización de Bucchianico, siempre en representación y en nombre de San Camilo.

A pergunta “Como Bucchianico está se preparando para comemorar os quatrocentos anos da morte de São Camilo?” é muito simples. Antes de tudo, temos a intenção de dar uma notável contribuição a todas as manifestações e celebrações no território de Bucchianico; nós, como prefeitura, mas também junto a associações reconhecidas do município, colaboraremos fortemente com a organização central de Roma. Gostaria de ressaltar uma iniciativa que nasceu espontaneamente e que será concluída em 2013, ou seja, abrir um museu permanente, uma mostra permanente de presépios que representam os lugares em que São Camilo está atualmente operando, isto é, os cinco continentes. Em colaboração com a Província Romana, a Província Napolitana e com todos aqueles que representam – sejam eles leigos ou religiosos – o mundo de São Camilo, estamos recebendo como um dom os presépios oriundos da Tailândia, da Alemanha, da Província Napolitana, da Sicília, da própria Bucchianico, portanto da Província Romana, etc., enfim um presépio que testemunhe a obra de São Camilo nestes lugares. O propósito, portanto, é muito simples: quando um(a) visitante chegar a Bucchianico e perguntar o que pode ver, hoje visita a casa onde nasceu o santo, visita o Santuário de São Camilo, visita Santa Clara, verá São Camilo em todos os lugares… No entanto, queremos oferecer uma contribuição a mais, desejamos apresentar-lhe uma mostra permanente para provocar uma pergunta: “O que tem a ver a Tailândia, um presépio tailandês, com Bucchianico?”. Nós desejamos responder: “Esta é a obra de São Camilo, ele está na Tailândia, assim como no Chile, etc.”. Precisamente hoje, o Chile nos presenteou um presépio como testemunho. Para nós, como administradores municipais, o testemunho é a valorização do território e a valorização de Bucchianico, sempre por causa e em nome de São Camilo.

La question « Comment Bucchianico prépare-t-elle la célébration du quatre centième anniversaire de la mort de saint Camille ? » est très simple. Tout d’abord, nous avons l’intention de donner une contribution importante à toutes les manifestations et les célébrations sur tout le territoire de Bucchianico. Nous, en tant que Commune, et ensemble avec les associations reconnues par la Commune, nous collaborerons étroitement avec la direction de Rome. Je suis heureux de faire remarquer une initiative qui est née spontanément et qui sera prête en 2013 : ouvrir un musée permanent, une exposition permanente de crèches de tous les lieux où saint Camille œuvre en ce moment : les cinq continents. En collaboration avec la Province romaine, la Province napolitaine, avec tous ceux, laïcs ou religieux, qui représentent le monde de saint Camille, nous recevons des dons de crèches de Thaïlande, d’Allemagne, de la Province napolitaine, de la Sicile, de Bucchianico même, et de la Province romaine, crèches qui témoignent du travail de saint Camille dans ces lieux. Et donc, l’idée est très simple : quand quelqu’un arrive à Bucchianico et demande ce qu’il peut voir, aujourd’hui, il voit la maison natale de saint Camille, le Sanctuaire de saint Camille, il voit sainte Claire, il voit saint Camille partout. Nous souhaitons donner une contribution en plus, nous voudrions lui donner une exposition permanente afin que lui, ou elle, se pose la question : « Mais que signifie la Thaïlande; pourquoi une crèche de la Thaïlande à Bucchianico ? » Nous voudrions pouvoir dire : « C’est l’œuvre de saint Camille: saint Camille est en Thaïlande, saint Camille est au Chili. » C’est pourquoi le Chili nous a donné une crèche, en témoignage. Pour nous, en qualité d’administration, le témoignage, c’est : la valorisation du territoire et la valorisation de Bucchianico, toujours pour le compte et au nom de saint Camille.
