La Speranza

Che sia una festa e un punto di partenza, come lo sono gli aeroporti. Non è solo un punto di arrivo. Esattamente così come l’aeroporto ha la pista dalla quale decolla l’aereo per volare verso il futuro, che speriamo sia davvero come sono stati questi ultimi quattro secoli. Che sia un futuro positivo, di grande allegria, ma soprattutto che sia buono per gli infermi, che sono quelli a cui dobbiamo il nostro lavoro.

The Hope

I hope it will be a feast, a starting point, as the airports are. It isn’t only a point of arrival. Especially just the airport has a trail from which the plane track off to fly to the future. We hope the future will be really, as the last four centuries have been. I hope it will be a decent future, of great joy, but above all I hope it will be good for the sick, who are the ones to whom we owe our work.

Die Hoffnung

Dass es ein Fest sei, ein Ausgangspunkt, wie es zum Beispiel die Flugplätze sind. Diese sind nicht nur eine Stätte der Ankunft. Der Flugplatz hat eine Rollbahn auf der das Flugzeug sich beim Start abhebt, um sich auf ein zukünftiges Ziel hinzubewegen. Diese Zukunft soll zumindest so gut sein wie es die letzten vierhundert Jahre waren, mit innerer Freude; vor allem soll sie gut sein für die Kranken. Sie sind ja diejenigen, denen unsere Arbeit gebührt.

Que seja uma festa, um ponto de partida, como são os aeroportos. Não é só um ponto de chegada. Sobretudo, os aeroportos têm uma pista de decolagem para voar em direção ao futuro, que esperamos seja verdadeiramente como foram estes últimos quatro séculos. Que seja um futuro discreto, de grande alegria, mas, antes de tudo, que seja bom para os enfermos, eles são a “razão de ser” do nosso trabalho.

L’espérance

Qu’elle soit une fête, un lieu de départ, comme le sont les aéroports, et pas seulement le point d’arrivée. Surtout l’aéroport qui a la piste d’où décolle l’avion pour voler vers le futur, que nous espérons vraiment comme ont été ces quatre derniers siècles. Qu’elle soit un futur discret, de grande joie mais surtout bon pour les malades, qui sont ceux à qui nous devons notre travail.
