On the occasion of the meeting of the Major Superiors and the Delegates of the Order of the Ministers of the Sick, the head of communications for the activities of the fourth centenary, Brother Carlo Mangione, presented the appointments for the second six-month period of the jubilee year which have been organised by the General Consulta.
Amongst the most important dates are those of 2 February (memorial of the conversion of St. Camillus) and 25 May (the date of birth of St. Camillus). In the programme there stands out the pilgrimage of the heart of St. Camillus, a valuable opportunity for general animation through catechesis and visits to the sick.
Also envisaged are ‘three days’ of spirituality which will be held on 18-20 March 2014 in Rome which are for Camillian religious and will be animated by Cardinal João Braz de Aviz, the Prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, and by Monsignor José Rodríguez Carballo and by Nicoletta Spezzati, respectively Secretary and Under-Secretary of the same Congregation.
Study meetings, moments of spirituality, pilgrimages and celebrations of the Eucharist will precede over these weeks the great appointment of 14 July 2014 when the jubilee year will be brought to an end in a solemn way at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene.
