The day was dedicated to listening to the experiences of partners and the national ‘CADIS’ teams from all over the world. During the morning we spoke about the experiences of the partners who were present (Rural Missionaries, RGS, Fardec, CAN on climate change) and in the afternoon we spoke in large measure about the state of the national organisations of CADIS.

The principal aim was the description of experiences and understanding the work that has been done hitherto, as well as understanding future scenarios. Slides, histories, testimonies, dreams and projects accompanied the group on a pathway at whose centre was the sharing of project-making and expectations, starting with the strategic framework that will accompany the work of CADIS until the year 2020. The representatives of CADIS in Australia, India, the Philippines, Kenya, Taiwan, Thailand and Nepal offered real numbers and a careful assessment that helped to establish a shared heritage. It is impossible to provide a description of the histories that were narrated, the pictures that were seen, the videos that were shown, and above all the emotions that were provoked. However, it is certain that it was sufficient to count the hundreds of slides that were shown, and the tired and happy faces of the people who were present, to understand the work that has been done over the last year. A red line that went through the words ‘vulnerability, ‘the defence of rights’, and ‘climate change’. Ten hours of work interrupted only by short breaks narrates the passion of the 57 people taking part and their wish to construct tomorrow.
