On Saturday 24 August the young people of the St. Camillus Parish of Santiago in Chile took on the role of pilgrims and took part in the ‘Walk of Solidarity (‘Caminata de la Solidaridad’) which is organised every year in the capital of this SouthAmericanState around the figure of St. Alberto Hurtado.
This year the subject of reflection of the Walk revolved around the word of Christ in the Gospel according to St. Matthew, chapter 25: ‘Whenever you did this for one of the least important of these members of my family, you did it for me!’
These young Chileans demonstrated all of their enthusiasm on their city pilgrimage from the Parco Los Reyes to the sanctuary dedicated to Fr. Hurtado, joining other young people of the archdiocese and turning their thoughts to those words of the Gospel which also inflamed the heart of the St. Camillus de Lellis.
