The miracle taken into consideration is the presumed healing of a lady who lives in Orindiúva – São Paulo, suffering from a major haemorrhagic stroke.

Present at this ceremony were: members of the Camillian Province of Brazil; the Provincial Superior of the Ministers of the Infirm in Brazil Fr. Antonio Mendes Freitas; Fr. Tiago Medeiros, parish priest of Orindiúva – SP at the time of the miraculous event and a great animator of devotion to Blessed Father Luigi Tezza; Sister Odila Susin, Provincial Superior of the Daughters of St. Camillus in Brazil; the counsellors, novices, and postulants of the Daughters of St. Camillus.

The investigation will take place during the months of July and August 2021, in the Archdiocese of Ribeirão Preto.

We cunt on the prayers of all God’s people, especially all members of the Camillian Family for this very important event in the process of canonization of Blessed Father Luigi Tezza, for the Church, for the Camillian Family and especially for the Daughters of St. Camillus who venerate him as Father and Founder.
