Roma and Bucchianico are preparing to celebrate St. Camillus de Lellis together.
The appointments will follow one another starting on Saturday 6 July, when the new commemorative urn will be inaugurated which will contain the body and the simulacrum of St. Camillus in the chapel dedicated to him inside the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Rome and the heart of the saint will leave for the town of his birth.
The town which witnessed the birth of the ‘Giant of Charity’ and the city which witnessed his birth into heaven will officially launch the jubilee year of the death of St. Camillus which promises to be intense and full of initiatives in all the Camillian Provinces of the world. On the page of the official web site dedicated to the fourth centenary, www.camillodelellis.org/celebrazioni, the calendars with the appointments planned by the Camillian comunities of various cities, such as Acireale, Messian and Palermo, have already been published.
On the same page you will also find the entire programme for Rome and Bucchianico.
We invite all Camillian religious and the communities to send their calendars of activities to celebrate the Saint Founder to the e-mail address comunicazione@camillodelellis.org and to place them in the geographical localisation on the same web site, following the instructions of the tutorial which can be accessed through the page www.camillodelellis.org/tutorial.
