Condolences

The International Lay Camillian Family desires to send its most sincere and fraternal condolences to the Camillian Order and to the large Camillian Family in the world, following the death of their Superior General, Father Leocir PESSINI.

Even though we knew his illness was undermining him, Father Leo fought so bravely and lucidly that hope was still there. And we are never ready to leave a friend who knew how to be close to everyone, instilling him/her new strengths and enthusiasm that he himself found in his prayer with Jesus Christ, Our Lady Health of the Sick, S. Camillus de Lellis and the Communion of Saints.

His example will still be engraved on us for a long time.

Marie-Christine Brocherieux, President of the Central Commission for the Lay Camillian Family, if she could not be present at the funeral in Brasil, was present at the Mass of Suffrage, in Basilica S. Camillo de Lellis, in Rome on Wednesday 31^st July, to share with all the present people a last farewell to Fr Leo.
