On 8 December, the day of the Immaculate Conception, Camillians throughout the world renew their vows with a special celebration.

This year at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Campo Marzio in Rome the Holy Mass for the Renewal of Vows, at 10.30, will be accompanied by the perpetual profession of eight new religious.

The event will be broadcast on the same day on Telepace (canale 850 of SKY and on digital terrestrial television) starting at 19.00.

As was the case with St. Camillus in 1591, the renewal of vows and the new perpetual professions will take place in front of the wooden statue of the Virgin Mary of the Michelangelo school which is kept in the St. Camillus de Lellis Museum and will be moved for the occasion to inside the Church of St. Mary Magdalene.
