The General Consulta of the Camillians has convoked the Extraordinary General Chapter which will take place on 15-21 June in Rome.

The Major Superiors and the Delegates of the Order, together with the elected religious of the individual Provinces and Delegations – in all about sixty religious, will take part. A representative of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life will also be present.

Ample space will be given to reflection on the events that have involved the Order in recent months. Questions and issues relating to formation and the economic situation of the Order, and vigilance in relation to it, will be examined.

At the end of the Extraordinary General Chapter, on 21 June at 20.30, those taking part in the Chapter will have an opportunity to see the musical ‘Camillus, Soldier of God’ which will be performed at the Teatro Argentina of Rome.

We are certain that if we give space to the Holy Spirit the Chapter will be a moment of strong dialogue and growth.
