The meeting of the General Consulta of the Order of the Ministers of the Infirm held on August 11, 2023, accepted the proposal of the Central Commission that the Jubilee of the Conversion of St. Camillus will begin on 02 February 2025, the date of his conversion, and will end on 08 December 2025, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, the day of the saint’s solemn profession.

The Central Commission thought it opportune to propose this change to the Most Rev. Superior General Fr. Pedro Tramontin and the Consulta because of the beautiful coincidence that the Jubilee of the Universal Church desired by Pope Francis falls in the same year as the 450th anniversary of St. Camillus’ conversion: 2025. This proposal has an exquisitely ecclesial scope and once again places the whole Camillian Charismatic Family in the heart of the Church; it will also give devotees of St. Camillus from all over the world the opportunity to experience the initiatives that will be put in place both for the universal Jubilee and for the specific Camillian Jubilee.

The Central Commission, as soon as possible, will send proposals for the preparation of the Jubilee involving all the institutes of the Camillian charismatic family and all the devotees of St. Camillus.
